Installing RAM
Im installing the RAM for my new pc im building. does it have to go all the way in? my motherboard is an asus a7n8x deluxe and its a crucial 512 dimm ram. It jus doesnt seem i have it in correctly.

Is it oriented correctly? There are notches that you need to ensure are lined up. Also make sure the plastic clips on the side are not locked in.

OK... 1st you push the plastic clips outward from center so the slot is open...
Orient the stick so notches along underside are lined up with notches in slot...
press stick firmly straight down until the plastic clips pop back up and lock...
press clips inward to make sure their secure.
That should ensure your memory is correctly seated...never force anything...If it is resisting, double check alignment.
