Error msg at startup

Hi, I get "At least one service or driver failed during startup. Use
event viewer to examine log for details." I looked in the log and
msiinstaller appears to be the problem I'm using 2003 Server.
How can I get rid of this msg? Everything appears to be working
normally.
Thanks

Thumbs up

Thanks!!! I am trying to digest this info. I believe now that it is
a Outlook 2000 installer problem I will attack it as such. I'll let u
know if your info did the trick. I'm sure this may take me a couple of days to know either way. Again thanks stroyal.....

Tried the installer utility didn't help. Under event properties double
clicked on SAInstall it states IIS is not installed. Install IIS before installing the Web UI for server administration. How can I do this??? Thanks...

did you recently install something!?
Sounds like its trying to finish an install of something as you boot back up but its failing.

First thing to try would be to re-install whatever you installed recently.
then try...
go to start --> run --> and try 'msconfig' ... it should work, but not sure if they included it in win2k3
If its there, go to teh startup tab and See if there is anything in there like setup or msiinstaller.exe

Or start --> run --> regedit
then traverse down the tree to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run

See if there is anything in there like setup or msiinstaller.exe
