Strange Errors before windows loads

I recently bought a new small form factor computer, the shuttle SN45G nVidia nforce2 based setup. I put my AMD 1800+, 512MB PC2100 DDR memory, and GeForce 3 AGP from the previous sytem into this new one. I had tons of problems just trying to get windows to install, random blue screens, BIOS errors and loads of other problems. I ran Memtest and found that the memory had THOUSANDS of errors, I also physically tested the memory to be certain and it came out bad from that test to. So I replaced that memory with 2x 512MB sticks of Kingston HyperX PC3500 memory, it ran much smoother and the errors appeared to disappear, I ran memtest86 for nearly an hour and it all looked fine, no errors. Then after playing for about 4 hours on the system one day it Blue Screen with a 0x0000050 Page Fault in Non Paged Error saying that n4disp.dll had possibly caused the error. I figured that I just needed to reinstall my video drivers, so I restarted. The BIOS screen came up, it posted, the screen went black, then this strange error came up before the windows xp pro logo even started to show up. It was a black screen with white lettering that spoke of a Page Fault, and it gave addresses and a ton of hex data, along with a dump of registers all again in hex. This must be something that was thrown together, it wasn't centered or even properly aligned, must have been from some low level code(?). It just stops there. I shut it down and let it cool off for a bit, not ruling out overheating since the system tends to run hot (50C+). Started back up and it ran just fine, got into windows and everything. But it will happen after playing for a few hours, even with different games, it will BSoD then fail to restart. Also after only one hour, I restarted the computer to check the temp, hit F1@ the BIOS screen, it said "Entering Setup..." at the bottom, but just went to a black screen and hung there. I don't think its the memory since I JUST replaced it, and the error on restart has happened both with the old and the new memory. Heat could be it, but the MotherBoard has an overheat LED that lights if the CPU, RAM, or AGP get overloaded or overheated.

Any Ideas?

Well although you didn’t mention what power supply you had. My bet would be
that’s the culprit. You should be running a 350w, 400w power supply with that
Mobo & AMD.

The system (Comes with case, Mobo, and PSU) comes together straight from Shuttle. The PSU is 200Watt, but that has been enough for people to overclock Intel chips to 3Ghz+ with 1GB RAM, a DVD-RW, and a Radeon 9800 Pro, so I don't know if not enough power would be it, but the PSU could be failing...

Take your choice.

P.S. Welcome to TechIMO. I recently bought a case w/ a 500 watt ps and it seems ok. Good Luck

Yeah, 200W Power Supply won't cut it. Use the link above and get at least 400W.

The thing on the left where the Power cable goes is the PSU. These systems have been tested with a LOT more draw than the one I built. Either way, I ordered a new CPU, the MOBILE Athlon XP 2500+, it uses 45W vs the current one near 75W. Should lower heat and power usage.

Besides PSU, anything else I should check on?
