my Power Supply stats

It is a Premier plus 350w(whoops I thought it was a 300w)
A.C. input - 115volts-230v.
D.C. input - +3.3V +5v +12v
28A 30a 15a

I think that is what you asked for, if it isn't then I can post more information. I just bought Arctic Silver 3 at my local Radio Shack so I am kind of excited about that.

P.S. bump!

enough with the bumping.

is your processor knacked? try it in another machine if you can. be very careful tho, don't take any chances with someone else's kit.

then - if the CPU is ok, get it working with a very very thin layer of thermal paste (don't use loads just cos you're excited about buying it - i make these mistakes too).

if the CPU's dead, buy a new one. make sure before you put it in that you're happy with the heatsink and the paste/pad. the sink should be really tight on the board.

either way the next step is to check out the ram. follow the advice earlier - try one at a time, check on the crucial website that it's compatible with your board if you're unsure.

unplug everything extra on the board, USB headers, firewire etc. get it working with one hard disk and one optical drive, and a floppy if you need it for raid controllers etc.

after that, well, try it and then see what people can come up with.

So I went to NewEgg.com to buy myself a new processor with a fan/heatsink (it had a thermal pad on the bottom of it) and i also bought two sticks of corsair ddram. I disconnected my ATA hard drive so I fiddle with my SATA hard drive, and I had a problem with my SATA hard drive it gets to the part witht the Windows XP pro install where it asks you to press enter to continue but then it says there are no hard disk drivers installed(which is bs because I installed everything with the utility cd onto the hard drive. This would be a problem except that I was a little over zealous in using my computer for the first time in a month of no computer usage (yeah major withdraw pains) that i pushed the female connector in the wrong way and it bent one of the pins.

Any suggestions would be very helpful and much obliged. Thanks in advance.
