I guess I should actually say more than a link...

anyways on most windows OS's you can go to start>> run>> msconfig and control your boot up options but win2k lack this feature so you have to use a 3rd party tool or do it the hard way.. (can you say regedit??)

i have the whole thing in german so it could be wrong

START -> System Settings -> administration -> Services there is a list from programs that run, ran or can be run just find your game in there (those without descriptions arent windows programs, but be carefull what you stop and disbale!) then right click your game -> Settings and set Starttype (or whatever it is in english) to manual or even disable it!

Uninstalling
Control Panel Applet: Use the Add/Remove Programs control panel -OR- delete Startup.cpl from your windows system directory. In either case Control Panel can't be open (If you are using Add/Remove programs, close the Control Panel window before hitting Add/Remove).

EXE Version: Delete the EXE.
