| Help me....something weird is happening....
I don't know what the deal is with my PC (Win XP) but when it's inactive for several minutes, as soon as the screen saver goes on, everything freezes and the windows task manager shows the CPU Usage at 100%..... at this point I normally have to just power off the thing....
does anybody have any ideas why this might be occurring.....this is really annoying and I'm clueless as to why it's occurring......it just started happening 2 days ago....
btw...I just checked my event viewer, which is pretty much in greek to me, and there were a ton of errors regarding the true vector engine (which is what I'm guessing is used to run my 3-d flower box standard screen saver)....it does this for every screen save but when i turn the screen saver off, i haven't had any errors. |

That's and odd one. Maybe try updating your DirectX drivers to the latest version.

What are your system specs? Such as CPU, video card, memory, etc. |

Try backing down your AGP setting to 4x. Your will see no noticeable performance decrease. |
