WIN XP driver uninstallation

Hi, does anyone know how to stop drivers from reinstalling itself everytime after boot-up. I'm trying to uninstall the lastest ATI Radeon driver but it keeps on reinstalling itself (it seems to be the same with all driver uninstallation). What's the fix?

what drivers are you trying to install? if you want to try different drivers other than xp's built in ones why not just uninstall, dont reboot, and use the other ones you want to use? give that a shot.

Yup. Uninstall the drivers and don't reboot but install the new drivers from Device Manager then reboot your machine, that should work. Or you could probably reboot in safe mode and install the drivers from there, but the first solution will work and is easier.

Or reboot in Safe Mode, uninstall drivers and install what you want. I mean do the driver thing is Safe Mode (F8).
