| No boot-Monitor signal FIX-Works
Hey guys, today I had such a huge problem with my computer. I just got my new case and I was in the process of transfering my stuff to the new case. When I was finished, everything would work but I would get no signal for my monitor. It was soo frustrating, I did EVERYTHING possible, I checked the god damn pins like a million times, I reseated eveything, and done what ever body else said in these froums. But with still no luck it would not boot up on my monitor. I though that I had to replace my vid card or my power supply, I was afraid I had messed it up.
Well, surely I found out why this was happening. It wasnt because that my stuff was fryed, or that I incorrectly installed a component, actually it was the power supply unit; that was the culprit of my agonizing pain I had suffered. The actual PSU was the the cause of this, it was the little button on the back of it. The one that controls the volt to the entire MOBO, im talking about the "115", and "225" volt swicth, (I beleive those were the numbers). So to make a long story short just switch the number to "115", and everything will start working, I must of accidentaly swicted it to 225, when I tried turining it off, this was the cause of this problem!!!
Hope it helps You guys out. |
