2 operating systems (but not really)?

I have 2 hard drives one crashed and so I put in the 2nd HD
I fdisked it and reformated fat32 installed Windows XP

Upon boot it asks if I want to run windows Xp or
Previous operating system

How do I get rid of the second operating system
or at least this option (slows down boot)
and there is not a operating system there
if clicked on it just reboots

you can modify the "boot.ini" file...its a hidden file on the C: drive.....hafta go to folder options "view" and set it to show all files and to NOT hide protected operating systems files.

right click on my computer, click propertise, click advance, click start up and recovering unclick the first two boxes
