Hi,
I have an MSI KT6 Delta Mobo and AMD XP 2800.
Can anyone tell me how to get into the BIOS without removing the battery jumper which is how I am doing it at the mo.
Cheers

how to get into it, or how to reset it?
what have you been trying to get into it?
usually its the "del" key, but sometimes its f2.....you have to start hitting the button right after it starts booting.
usually its one of those two nowadays...of course in the past its been everything imaginable, lol

well, if it's a Compaq or HP it might be the F10 key....
just to be sure press each one of the Function keys as soon as the memory check starts (or the Compaq/HP logo comes up) |

On the couple of PCs that I have to get to the bios I press the F8 key right as the system is going though the post.
That has been only one that I have used so far. I have had to use the others mentined when working on AST, HP, COMPAQ, and PackerBell PCs.
Good luck.

Hi
Buttonpusher, thanks for your post.
This a an absoulte fresh out of the box( many boxes) PC. It hasn't any allegiance to a particular manufacturer.
If you read an earlier post the bracketted bit only its a( MSI KT 6 Delta Mobo ) with an AMD XP 2800 CPU. 1048 Mb DDR 400 Ram a 40 GB HDD w 6 Partitions and Two 20 Gb Ones with 2 partioions each. It runs very well a DVD/RW and DVD ROM
I use a PCI to IDE card for the 3 rd HDD and the CD ROM.
What I want to know other than pulling the battery , how do I enter the BIOS to change boot volumes etd?
Cheers
