| Computer Randomly Restart
Hey, I have a
Circero (future shop) XP
AMD 2400+
FX 5200 128 meg
512 RAM
I've had it for about 3 months - and a few weeks ago every so often the computer restarts. I've been told it's shortage of power, but i'm not to sure
It's not a virus
Also no warning or anything comes up, just restarts
any help?

Any idea what temperatures you are running at? Possible heat problem, or like you said-power supply. My computer did the same exact thing. I would be surfing the web or something and it would just restart. But it was an eMachines so it had an excuse. |

Have a spare power supply laying around to see if it is in fact the power supply?
BTW, how often does it restart on you? |
