Windows IE Frustration!!!

Ok, I'm REALLY getting tired of this:



Every time I click a link in IE, that is how the 2nd instance of IE opens up EVERY SINGLE TIME! I've tried the little "maximize 2nd window, hold shift, close 2nd window" trick, I've reinstalled IE twice, run Adaware, Spybot, AVG Antivirus Pro, I've cussed numerous times as well, but none of those have helped.

Is there a definite way to fix this problem? I'm getting very angry...I don't think you're going to like me when I'm angry.
