Does anyone know of a reputable ad system that pays by impressions? I am looking for a few bucks a month to help pay for hosting, and i am not so sure click ads will get the job done.

well, that is a third way i guess. that pays neither per-click or per-impression. that is commissioned based.

i have tried commissioned based with allposters.com and amazon.com and neither produced ANY results. and i didnt really expect them to. if people are going to buy something, they will most likely go directly to them.

well, so far i have made 30 cents on people clicking on a link for me. there has to be better ways!
