need dreamweaver help...

ok i no you guys are prolly gonna tell me it sucks and to use html, but the thing is i dont have the time or the patients to, trust me i have already tried. so i was wondering if you could answer a few questions, first how do i make a little margin type deal that is always on the left side of the page no matter what page?, also how do i make one for the top for the title of the site. last do you guys no any good sites with tutorials in dreamweaver??? thanks

Well it sounds to me like your describing a frames type environment. But if you're trying not to use frames then you could use CSS and the <div> tag. This is pretty useful and it makes updating things alot easier since its only one file Go to google and type in "CSS layout templates" or something of that nature and you'll come across a few sites that give you a predefined CSS template thats been tested in all the major browsers. This makes it easy if you expect several different types of browsers coming to your site. Since each browser handles style sheets differently its important to remember that you need to test your design in as many diff browsers as possible (Opera, IE, and Netscape/Mozilla are the biggest).

Tutorials for dreamweaver? Hmm...I know Macromedia has some tutorials on their website. I've never really looked for tutorials on how to use the program. I really only use the code view anyway Its MUCH better than design view since sometimes stuff goes a little crazy in design view for no reason (at least in my experience it has).

And dont bash DW!!! Its incredibly more accepted than Frontpage IMO.
