web site not refreshing on update..

hi
just learning some flash and html.
i have some free webspace with my isp and have started to make a website.

when i update my website with a new 'index.htm' (uploaded to my ftp folder)
the website still displays my old design.

I've managed to work out that my computer is cacheing my website and was told by tech support to delete temp internet files.
so, i have completely cleared my temp files folder, and offline content, cookies, history. restarted computer.
went back to my website & the damn thing still shows my old design, even though the file 'index.htm' stored on the server is the correct one.

i really dont know where the site could be stored on my comp.

any ideas - its driving me insane.

what about if you go on your site and do ctrl+F5 to bypass teh cache just in case.

also try deleting the index page before you upload a new copy

(i met the real carl cox by the way!)

i was deleting the original index.htm before uploading a new one, still didnt work even then.

the crtl f5 did the trick.
