DOS "inside" VB ??

Hi.

I have this:

textbox1

And I want this:

When I start my app, I want it to run just like DOS, (starting at C: )
I want to use all DOC-commands, I want DOS in that textbox, simple as that.
(ex. "cd windows" moves to C:\WINDOWS, typing "dir" returns dir from C:\WINDOWS and so on...)

Is there a way that it could be done?
Can you create your own "DOS-consol"?

Thx.

I'm not a VB guru by any stretch of the imagination but I think you would need to do some heavy coding to get something like a DOS command prompt through VB. I would assume you'd need to code each individual command, unless there is a way to call the existing ones and convert the output into something that can be displayed.

More experienced people please correct me if I'm wrong.

Sean

Im a guru-in-training. okay not quite that, but I have done seveal projects in VB and as far as I know... you do have to program each element individually.

My friend made a unix inpersenator in VB... well kinda. He gave up after about 30 commands.
