    phpBB 2x and lycos setup

     
    Anyone have experience with this. Im getting no where fast and its starting to annoy me very much so. I followed their guides you name it. I uploaded useing ftp proggy. Edited attributes to install.php to full rw. Then launched installer-THEIR way. Useing the addy in IE. That went ok. Got confirmation fo install all looked same as guide. But it still said page under construction at my addy. Ug. So I made a basic blank web page -useing template, published it. Now I get that when I go to my website. But WHY-oh WHY isnt phpBB showing at all. I preview it useing webftp and its there-somewhat. Says yourdomain.com. Totally lost-hours into this and nothing.....I mean nothing to claim as progress. Cept uplaoding my files, enableing php4 and mySQL in account. Woot. Need some serious guidance on this. I posted at phpBB forums but not getting replies yet.
