Anyone know how to use XML scripts and get them to show up on your website? I need to put them on this page like right underneath the team awards, it will show XML team stats for gaming leagues. http://gamershdq.net/index2.php

1. XML isn't a script, its basically a method of storing data.
2. You should be able to use javascript to parse an XML file |

Use PHP and XSL.
PHP has functions to attach and transform the XML stream using XSL.

Open it as an HTTP socket, read it into a string, attach an XSL and transform it.

Have a look at my homepage. I have a page that uses javascript to pull in data from an xml page every 3 seconds. Javascript hot changes the screen and generates popups that send the commands back again. Feel free to read the source I've linked this up with a linear program for optimised control. |
