Wow! I'm at wits end and I'm thinking I need to ask for help. I sign on to TIMO and it's been EXACTLY 1 year and 2 hours since I was last here... Sheesh! Anyway, I've got a problem I need help with.
I've got a work laptop that I do web programming on. While docked in the office, my localhost instance of IIS/SQL2000 works flawlessly. While COMPLETELY disconnected, it works flawlessly as well. The problem is only when I dial-up to work.
When I'm dialed up and try to connect to localhost/answers (our application), I get a 403. If I connect to 127.0.0.1/answers, I get the sign on page for our application, but submitting the form (POST) of login info goes nowhere and it eventually times out.
Any ideas? Need more info? I'm really in a tight spot because I dial up remote 2-3 days per week and I don't want to have to drive to the office 5 days a week. (Hour and a half commute EACH WAY - no exaggeration. Georgetown, DE to Annapolis, MD.) |
