Hi Everybody....
I am a newbie Web Builder and am looking for a way to put real music (not midi's) onto my web site. I would like the song to play in it's entirety or loop every 2 or so minutes, and would like it to play on every page. Someone said to create a flash movie with no video, just audio ???? At anyrate any ideas would be greatly apprecitated... Here is the web site... www.blues-cruisers.com
Sorry for the manual link.. can't seem to make the Insert Hyperlink work... it keeps blowing out my post.
Thanks for all your input and have the very Happy Thanksgiving !

| Code: <embed src="music.mp3" autostart=true loop=true hidden=true</embed> Works with MP3, WAV, and probably other formats. |

I actually will be needing to do the same, as I am making a website for a local band. I do remeber that you use some kind of embedded tag for windows media player, but that's it... |

I guess the next question, then, is if you can play multiple songs with one embedded player? I guess a playlist, more or less? |

All this will serve to do is a) piss off your visitors b) waste bandwidth
Please don't embed music in web pages. If they want to listen, put a link to the music in there for them to. Don't force it on everyone.

Please.....don't.
Music is out. It was a passing fad in the late 90's, but now it comes across as being very amature unless you're a band. Siliconjunkie has it right. |

And don't forget that this slows your page to a crawl for people with 56k! (like me! ).

Dommi, thanks for the link
Everyone else - I know. It is extremely annoying. In this case though, It will be for a band's website, and they will have to click to play the songs, no auto playing. |
