| Problem with websites results on google
I recently started learing HTML and (in my mind) have done well in a short amount of time. The website is for my band. My question is: I submitted my url to google, and it now comes up in google (if you choose what you type very carefully!) but in the results for my page it shows the HTML. I've gone to w3.org and validated my html to make sure everything was in working order. www.timeonhandband.com is the website. In google if you type " "time on hand" band " (keep the quotes around 'time on hand') it comes up on the 3rd page with this as the title:
ÿþ< ! DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC " - / / W 3 C / / DTD HTML 4 . 0 1 ...
and this as the description:
... Header " > Time On Hand < / div > < div id = " Content " > < p > < h 5 > Time On
Hand , based in Lincoln , NE , is a unique sounding four piece rock band . ...
I was wondering if I've made an error somewhere in my html or if it's a glitch with google or what? Possibly something that I can do? If you need any more info from me just let me know. I think I've included everything you should need! Thanks for your help! |
