Thinking of adding an Affiliates/Links section to my site

Hi All. I am thinking of adding an Affiliates/Links section to my site.

Basically, because I have alot of ad space on my pages, I am thinking of asking people if they want to use that space. And, all i will be asking is that they place my link and/or banner on their site too.

I have a link section already where they can add there links themselves but thought of the above ideal and know it will be more beneficial for my site and will help me get more hits.

What do you think? And if I do add the Affiliates/Links section, should I keep the Affiliates section? or, just have both sections but keep them seperate?
