| Apache server works for me, but not for others.
My Apache Web Server used to work just fine with no hitch.
It works for me... and used to work for other people... but all of a sudden, it doesn't work for other people who are trying to view my files. Any suggestions?
(By the by, I haven't messed with the httpd.conf in forever, so I doubt it's that)

I have mine behind a linksys router. I use NAT, on the router, to direct port 80 http web requests to the machine with the Apache server. I uploaded new linksys bios which messed up the NAT settings. Have you changed your router settings. |

have you checked to see if your ip address has changed? sometimes even on broadband it will change for some odd reason. Especially if you are on comcast. They're overhauling the system at the moment upgrading speeds and stuff and that could cause a change in ip addresses |

Good point! If your machine is running naked on the internet, have you pinged the IP number. If that works ping the domain name associated with your IP number --if no ping you might be having domain server problems (DNS). |

You ought to have a look in your access_log and error_log files. |

My ISP (Cox) blocks port 80 to prevent uers from running web servers. But heres a hint, just change your listen port to 81 or something, 2nd most common is 8080.
