Im back again. Just finished building the frame of my site and wanted some input. I thought I would see what some of you thought since I value TechIMO's opinion so...

the banner/intro before the page itself loads is kind of long... average casual surfing user is only going to take a look at a page before moving on (without something grabbing their interest), this fails to grab them in that short amount of time.

The page itself I like, the flash is well done imo.

site looks great, good job on it, but i do have a little problem with the intro being kind of "long" nothing i cant tolerate, but if i kept going back to the site it would get on my nerves

what would help is putting a link to "skip the intro" in small font near the bottom of the intro itself

Plus I need to make some of the text larger. I run 1940x1220 resolution on one of my monitors, and it couldn't be read to save my life. so,,,

#1 problem, you are excluding anyone who does not have flash installed. You need to have an HTML and a Flash site.

I don't care for all the waiting I had to do while crap spun around and bounced. It's a website, not an arcade.

I see what you are saying, however, this is a web and graphic design site. If you dont have flash, you will be able to click the link to install it right there. Besides I think the last survey said that 93% of all surfers have flash installed. Obviously Ive been doing this for a while and I have been useing 100% flash sites for the last 5 years....but you have a point, and thanks for you input

I wanted opinions....

and the most known issue is that I need to build one for people who still use 800x600 resolutions (and believe it or not, there are still a meager few) but since Im trying to advertise two things

1 Myself...which will be the boring area once completed, Im sure, and
2 My services

I think an important part is to give then an up front and quick ( 4 seconds total) synopsis of what I do....

Am I off base?

Alright, Ive got to go to bed. If anyonde would still like to give me some opinions they would be greatly appreciated and Im sure Ill take many of the into count. So I will check up and see whats been added.
