VB Database programming

I would like to write a program in VB that would draw info off a database? Is there any good websites that have some code or instructions?

How bout a book or a textbook? I'm writing this program for my work place.

Thanks,

RedFox

I would suggest that you use a SQL database (possibly MySQL). Are you using VB or VB.NET?

I'm not too familiar with vb and databases, but in vbscript there is an activex control that's normally associated with ms access that makes for easy (in some ways, in some ways harder) database programming. It's used with what are called Data Access Pages (fancy term for a web page that uses this activex control). Since it's an activex control you could probably use it in your vb application too. no server required.
