It seems from a simple look at these charts that Opera is the clear winner.

No. Opera free version has advertisements. Or at leas it used to. I like firefox alot better than Opera. Seems Opera has become too bloated. Plus, firefox is free.

Yes. Opera is free too, the ad bar is real small, the ads are just the non-intrusive google text ads (no flashing and moving ads) and it has the height of a normal toolbar. I can't see how you can say Opera is too bloated, seems as it is faster than Firefox  |

Bloated? Opera weighs in at 3.59mb (win) and Firefox at 4.60.
Both are good browsers imo. Opera is a private (don't think they are publicly traded) firm and requires sources of revenue to operate. So it's either ads or browser sales that keeps them on the map. Personally, I like their product enough to pay for it. Choices & competition are generally a good thing.
Bloated? I believe IE is quite large. |

Opera is publicly traded. They are listed on the Oslo Stock exchange.
And don't get me wrong I don't dislike Firefox. Opera is just better. |

i like opera due to the facts that it has a built in download manager, popup blocker and more organize
