| Opening browsers in different monitor?
Hey guys Im just curious if anyone knows or has even heard of being able to be able to open a webpage and have it default to the monitor I choose. Im running a little display and currently have a 3 screen display setup and would like to be able to just double click on page 1 and have it default to monitor 1...2 to 2, 3 to 3 etc.
Any help or suggestions would be extremly appreciated. |

I've never heard of it.

I would guess that it has to do with your video card in some way, as whatever monitor I have X program in, it stays on that one, even when I close and reopen the program.
Do you have your settings set to expanded desktop, or stretch?

Well what Im doing is deverloping a interactive menu that I would like on 5 monitors. I had originally designed it with Macromedia Director and it was easy enough to get that stretched across every monitor. However I changed it so each screen would be its own webpage because Im going to be using an XML feed to plug into them. The XML feed is coming from a database that will update the menu so I dont have to do it manually.
I was just curious if there was a script that would open each webpage in its respected monitor...something that is a little over my grasp :P |

maybe you could tinker with the save window size and positon settings, then open the browser window. although i think those values are stored in the registry, so extreme care is required. |

What about something like using a visual basic app? Would something like that work? |
