| Importing Text for a Website...Help!
Hey, I'm redesigning my band's website ( www.ornikus.tk), which I normally make with SWiSH 2.01 (basically a stripped down version of Macromedia Flash). Thing is, I hate having to re-create, re-build, and re-upload the swf file to our host every time I want to update the news section.
SWiSH will allow me to use javascript code if need be (or flash), but is there anyway to have the swf file load the text from a txt file into the movie every time it is opened? Please help me, I've searched online for a few weeks now to no avail, I can't figure out how to do it! Any help is appreciated. |

Here's how you do it in Flash. Swish should be similar, though I've never used it before.
