| my buddy's website he won't tell me how to do this.... www.clanard.cjb.net
i copied his source into a notepad file then viewed it with Netscape composer. it showed that his website was in arranged layers and columns like an uneven chart. the way he can put text to both left and right of the pictures. how does he do that???
i asked him and he just said "i'm special" |

At first glance I see that...
James Randall used Word to create the page and then did a "File/Save As Web Page" at approx. 3:10PM today. All that extra code from word is not needed and it slows down our less fortunate dial-up users page loading though. just my $0.02...
Edit: I believe Dreamweaver has a built-in feature to scrubb that un-needed code from word out of the source.

| Chooco, you were complaining your site was slow... but your friends site is death slowwwww.
BTW the source, like krohnjw says, reads OFFICE WORD all over the metatags.
Nothing special about that. Just made in Word |
