Godaddy Hosting = Impressed

I signed up for hosting with GoDaddy a few days ago and they did something that impressed me quite a bit.

Aside from being setup and working beautifully right away, I got a phone call yesterday! They have a Customer Orientataion team!

They just called to make sure that I had been able to get everything up and running and that everything was what I expected and that I was satisfied. This was absolutely amazing to me in this day and age of nothing but the bottom line.

I have only had expierience with GoDaddy and it was NOTHING like this, mind you it was a couple of years ago so I guess they have changed around their customer service policies etc.

They used to never even respond to emails much less call you. But it seems thats changed.

I've been using GoDaddy for over a year now and couldn't be happier. Excellent customer service and great prices - highly recommend.

I registered a domain with them a couple years ago. They could never get the name servers right, it kept going back to their default/parking ones. Finally ended up transferring it off to someone else out of frustration, even after multiple phone calls.

They lost me over that. Would never send anyone to them for anything.

I have them hosting my domain and email service, it's been very good although they do use a different SMTP server and non-standard ports for outgoing mail...took me awhile to figure that one out.

well if it was a female voice that called, you can hope it was the chick in the super bowl commercial that called you!

I can't get into web design at all, does nothing for me
Let alone buy a webhost for it, tis just me though
