| making my own FTP server, need tutorial
i searched google a few times and every result always points to making one on a Linux or Unix server. me needs help  |

you talking about IIS? or PWS? What server you running??? Apache??

for a search on google i used 'ftp server howto' and it gave me linux tutorials | |

have you checked www.apache.org ?
There should be howto's on there... when you downloaded it did it come with a manual?
I'd guess there should be a "docs" folder in there

no apache did not come with a manual. im searchin the manual.....
i can't find anything relating to FTP in the manual i downloaded.

that is what i was thinkin but these guys tell me otherwise.....
that manual is for V2.0, i got 1.3.23 or something like that. 2.0 was just a beta when i got it. | |

Just wondering now what all is the computer a server for now? (http, ftp, games, network-file)
I just noticed that you made it where you have to click on the word to go to somewhere, Probably cause of the blue border around the images. If that the case....
That can be fixed like this Code: <a href="somewhere.html"><Img src="image.jpg" border="0"></a> I added border="0" to tell it not to put a border around it the 0 can be changed to another number, if you like. | |
