Optical Character Recognition (OCR)... HELP!
hi! i'm currently working on a project right now that requires the use of an "OCR" (Optical Character Recognition).
Brief desc. of the proj.:
1. a "tiff" image is sent to a computer.
2. three encoders will simultaneously input the details in the image using the system
i'm doing right now .
3. after that, the system will compare all the three records for accuracy of input and
so on...
now my boss wants to replace the manual encoding with the "OCR" thingy (o, why?!
).
can somebody please tell me, or @ least put me in the right direction, on how and where do I start? Need help... badly.
keep 'em comin...
