Dreamweaver help

Am new to dreamweaver...have created a site with 80 pages...now I can't link to new pages...when I add a page and create a link....test it in the browser and click on the new link..nothing happens? Any suggestions as to what I need to do?

Go to the code view of your page and paste the code for the link here. Have you looked in the code to see if the mark-up is correct?

Thanks for the suggestions on the dreamweaver problem. I had tried all the html. When I started writing web pages...that was the only way to do them. I finally solved the problem I was working on a site started by someone else. I was told they had used dreamweaver...they hadn't. Some of the files were created in Word...However, I have a new problem. when I try to link to a pdf file..the file will not open. It will open on my Mac but not on my PC..I did a test page on my mac and the files will open on both machines. Any suggestions?
