| closing a windows process with a script?
I found a neat little program called "Strokeit" -- don't worry, it's totally work safe -- Anyway, it sits in your system try and watches for certain mouse movements. it then performs a given task if that mouse movement is detected.... I've only been using it for about a day, but it seems sort of nice - customizeable and just one more way to increase the speed of interacting with you computer.
here's the problem. Once it's up and running, as far as I can tell, the only way to turn it off is to CTRL+ALT+DEL and end the process. which is annoying. so here's the question:
I'd like to use javascript (or WSH -- whatever) to close a specific process. I would then tell the STROKEIT program to execute that script when I wanted to close it. help please?
I don't think this should be too dificult, but I did a google search and did not find a lot of helpful information.... That doesn't mean it's not there, but the search terms that I used did not help me.
thanks in advance,
