resource recomendation?

I was wondering what books/online resources you guys would recomemd especially for learning php and mysql. the more free stuff the better, but i dont mind buying a book or two...

PHP Fast & Easy Web Development is a great book. It takes you through step by step.

I found, that most anything I needed to do with PHP, and MySQL could be found using http://www.google.com

My suggestion is to have a goal, an end product if you will, in mind and create that. You won’t learn every aspect of PHP and MySQL, but you will learn how to use it, and build upon that.
