| Help on uploading of firmware
Hi Dear Forumite ,
i just got a Linksys Wrt54G linksys Wireless Router...
I want to change my firmwire . Could any forumite advice on any reliable firmware for me to upgrade ?
And may i know what is the steps to upgrade the firmware ?
Do i just upload the "Bin" file to the router web interface or there are some addition steps to take. ?
pls advice on this ...thank. |

| linksys.com download page. Select your device from the dropdown list. The instructions should be on the download page and with the downloaded file.

logout into the router after you downloaded the firmware
go to the administration section, click the firmware upgrade section. From here you can select where the file is located. Presto upgraded firmware! |

Windows update also detected newer graphics card and modem drivers for me. |

I think the point he was trying to make is that he doesnt need to mess with windows update to update his router. Plus even to this day i still think its a bad idea to use drivers from windows update. |
