Hard to explain... :/

Hey guys, in need of your guys' help again.

I know its prolly really simple, but I'm just a big n00b at javascript and the like....so here I go..

I want a text box that they can type in, and when they hit a submit button, it takes them to "www.yadayda.com/http/%what_i_typed_in" (not a real site, but ya know)...

Also, this is a different site...
So people would go to mexaw00t.com then type in w00t123 then it would take them to yadayada.com/http/w00t123

Thanks guys .

[updated so you don't have to read every post ]

Lol...not my site...thats exactly why I'm not running it on mine..
This is the reason why I'm doing it:
The denile address is too long, and its very unstylish..
I'm gonna have a better looking page that just uses their proxy server.

Thanks man, but its not like a serach...its a Proxy server to get past my schools filters :P (bad micfau, bad!)..

So really i want to have it go to: http://denile.info/*the rest i don't know*/http/myspace.com when they type myspace.com and hit go..

Thanks

Wink

hey dude,
basically i don't really understand about your slang...
but the following might the one you're looking for...
you can change it later, i know it won't be hard for you...
and i'm pretty sure you can think of many other uses of it.
JUST DO NOT CHANGE method="link" to method="POST"

<form method="link" action="http://www.yadayda.com/http/mexaw00t.com?search=">
<p>Type in what are you looking for:
<input type="text" name="search">
</p>
<p>
<input type="submit" value="Submit">*
<input type="reset" value="Clear">
</p>
</form>

You can try the form...
BUT the yadayda.com doesn't exist, right?
So, you should expect to get an Error...

=== best of luck ===

Man, running an open CGI proxy on your site. That's brave! Or stupid....
