Macromedia Studio 8 released

I'll probably download the new Studio 8 trial for a spin, but am wondering if an upgrade purchase at this point would be prudent, considering the recent Adobe acquisition [agreementl] of Macromedia.

I'm pondering whether to wait for the post-acquisition release or get Studio 8 in case it's the best of the last from Macromedia? I'm concerned with Dreamweaver and Flash only.

Your thoughts, or info for further research?

I'll try it tonight when I get home...I know I won't buy it though...I don't have any money.

Well everything that I read said that adobe was going to leave macromedia as their own group to continue on their work as is. Granted these things change every day and the only people that really know are the CEOs there. I love adobe and Macromedia Products so I imagine what ever they come out with next will be good but hey, anyone can screw up. If I was a hard core user I would check what they list as the newest big features. If they are something you think you would use I would jump for it. If not, I'd suggest waiting.
