VB / MYSQL

Hi everybody!
I am just starting to learn VB. I have been programming in C, C++, and PHP. I was told that VB can work with MYSQL. Is this true? and if so how would I set it up?

If you have the ODBC drivers you can do nearly anything you want with a database!

you can get the ODBC drivers from mysql.. then I believe you can use ADO to plug and play

Set up VB or MySQL?

I've only used PHP and JDBC with MySQL. Guess time to try ODBC/ASP.

I just got through the VB and Access DB tutorial and failed miserably.. our book sucks bad..

What really pisses me off is when I pay a thousand dollars for a class in college and our book is a tutorial book

WTF, I could of done that at home for 30 bucks!!!
