While I know you are not supposed to sell anything on techimo, I offer hosting that isn't much more expensive than godaddy. I'm a little guy, just trying to make a little money on the side and if you are looking for hosting feel free to email me at my business email and I'll let you know what my current prices/services are.
I'm so busy I haven't updated my website in a while. I have someone looking at making me a new site.

I use Doc for hosting, I have two sites with him one personal, one business, and I have got several other people hosting through him. As far as I am concerned he provides a great service, and being able to contact him personally is a real bonus.

No offense, but those prices aren't that competitive compared to godaddy. for $3 MORE than godaddy, you get 243GB less bandwidth a month and 4.7GB less storage space. |

Not wanting to quibble semantics, but that $4.00 GoDaddy account doesn't include PHP, Python, Perl, or CGI. Mine does. I might not have stuff listed on my flashy web site like GoDaddy, but if anyone was to ask, I'd let them know. I have unlimited email accounts too. ;-) I mean, crap, I'm just one guy trying to make a few spare bucks on the side. I don't have 15,000,000 servers running on a 12 way redundant OC64,000 ;-) Godaddy makes money on domain registrations and all of that other crap they pawn off on people when they buy domains. They can afford to give away hosting. I can't
I have a lot of stuff GoDaddy has, but obviously I can't compete on the world global scale with them. I bet I could be more flexible than they could with custom scripts and stuff. I have a good customer base and they are happy with the service. I guess that's all that counts.

P.S. No offense taken. If you couldn't take criticism, I wouldn't be on the internet. How can you take offense to facts. ;-) |
