webpage font question

I have made a webpage that has a font that I have downloaded, how can I get this this to display on my webpage when it is loaded up from another PCs? Can I get the font to load with the webpage for other PCs?
I am using Dreamweaver 3

You could either use the <font> tag in the HTML, or use a CSS/<span> tag to display the font.

If the other person does not have the font, it obviously will not use it. So you could provide a link to download the font to their machine (I won't get into copyright problems)

If it's a downloaded font you'll have to embed the font into the webpage.

How's it's done...I'm not sure. Maybe someone will have an idea. But I'm pretty sure you can embed fonts into a webpage. It might be proprietary to IE though.

that's useful, but not used that often... the best bet with any design is to use a font that everyone would have like verdana or arial...
