Security for website?

How can I set up a password protected region of my website? I use Frontpage 2002. I also have Dreamweaver 4 available.

THANKS!

That's going to be server-side. You won't be able to do it by just using those applications. Where is your site hosted?

through a third party, myhosting.com

I have an extra puter, 1GBRAM, 1.6GHz Intel. Can I set this up as a server? I have access to Windows Server.

Sure you can. First, email your host and ask if you can utilize HTAccess. If you can you can, then you are able to have password protected areas. If not setup your own apache web server. Google Apache web server and go from there. Apache.org I think.
