Math game for a child?

My 7y/o is bringing home math homework that she is having a hard time with and I would like to write a little program that gives her the same problems. The problems go like, you put a number in the machine and there is a rule in the machine that adds or subtracts and out comes a answer. With In, rule, and out all variables. Any way what language should I use Im a bit of a new at this.
