Hey
What's the best place for making a free site? Would be nice if it was easy to make, but while also looking quite impressive. |

there really is nothing perfect for free but there are things that are better than different things than others...it all depends on what you want to do
this is a good site for locating the one for your needs http://www.free-webhosts.com/power-search.php

Free hosting sucks...
To get a site that is up most of the time, and has the features you need, it costs money...personally, I would try 1 and 1 hosting...cheap($3 a month)...lots of features, probably more than you would need: http://order.1and1.com/xml/order/Hos...op&__lf=Static
Comes with a domain, and best of all a 90 day money back guarantee...can you go wrong? |

^they are ok...I use them...but unless you only plan on using it as a learning experience, or a test site(that is what I use it for...testing out phpbb2 installs...not much anymore though), it is a waste of time...the servers are down quite often. |

If you wanta free hsot, you will sacrifice features, but I used Netfirms for a while. They were pretty good. Great uptime and only one baner ad at the top of the page.
Tamranda http://www.tamranda.com is a great affordable web host though. I use it and it has a great uptime and the standard features that it includes are amazing. |
