mysterious jpg.....

I've been working on a site and the pictures look like crap. So I removed the jpg pictures that come up when you click on the small picture and there still there. I'm not sure that I'm making any sense.
visit my site and click on one of the pictures. I removed the picture it goes to but no luck. There is still an ulgy picture there.

At first I tried just replacing the picture with the same (sharper) one w/the same name but it didn't make it either.

I'm going to stop now, my brain is dead and I'm confussing myself.

Ok are there original high quality photos of these?

Did you make the thumbnails (the small photos)?

Ok, if there are original high quality photos, then they aren't being used. Those photos are stretched too much for their image quality.

If those are the highest quality photos you have, try shrinking them down to about 50% their original size. They looked good in photoshop at that size to.

I have higher quality photos and when I run the site directly from my computer everything look fantastic. I just want to up load all my good pictures but for some reason they aren't making it. ws_ftp say they are but when I visit my site they are a no show.

Try deleting the copies that are currently there and reuploading them. Also check their location and exact filename as this could be your problem since if they are successfully uploading and not changing it could just be that it is just not replacing the files that it is calling.

the pics look fine though, big enough to see what it is, they are quality photos and the page loads fast IMO

try clearing your cache. Your computer could be storing the old images on the HD, or it could be that the cache on the server hasn't been refreshed yet.
