What version of MySQL??
So I'm looking to setup a little forum on my webserver and it requires a MySQL backend and a PHP frontend.

What version of MySQL should I run it with?

MySQL 3.23 or MySQL Max 3.23?

Detailing the pros and cons of each release would be helpful.

It'll be running on Windows 2000 Pro using IIS 5.0

I haven't installed any version of mysql yet.

I currently run MySQL 3.23 on my win2k servers and XP boxes and it runs great.

Alright Mntsnow. I wasn't sure what the difference between the 3.23 and 3.23 Max.

I'll just settle for 3.23, it should do what I require.
