    Best Business Host

Hi, what is the best business hosting company that you tried or heard about?
I'm talking about everything you would need for an internet store, shopping cart, accepting credit cards paypal etc. etc.
Also don't know if it's a really bad thing but I don't know how to build a website.

    Any help appreciated, thanks alot.

Well...I don't know about having thm build your site with everything you want...but look into 1and1 (www.oneandone.com) they have pretty cheap hosting plans...

But if you seriously want to sell stuff, and don't know how to build your own site, you should probably look into hiring someone else to do it...either that, or look into ebay...

I've checked them out before, and I think they offer their own templates where you can edit it some more to suit you. Prices are good but i'm not sure if its the best out there that's why I wanted to ask here.

I've heard heard more horror stories with 1and1 than I can count.... but in the end it's usually only the horror stories that you do hear so take that with a grain of salt. I don't think it would be my buisness host if I had a choice.

For a true web host that helps you with all the things you want and one that does it well your going to be looking at a much higher pricetag than that.

It all depends on what kind of business your looking to set up. How much traffic your expecting and how important the site is.

Since its only starting I don't think I need a huge traffic, but I thought most of the hosts give you alot of traffic anyway. All I'm looking for is a generally a good hosting company with a good business package that has what an e-store needs.

I've been with Liquidweb for a few years now and I've had nothing short of a great experience with them. When needed their support staff respond to questions very quickly and very professionally.

While I do not use any on my site I know they offer e-commerce solutions. I'd say they are worth checking out if you haven't selected a host yet.

Another website that I am associated with uses liquidweb as a host. I've seen nothing but the best of service from them.

You hear bad things about them? We were looking to move over to their hosting...since godaddy has taken a crap on us(the website loads at dial-up speeds, database, and server downs...lots of crap)

Again, this is just my opinion from the random threads that I read when I was looking for a cheaper webhost (than dreamhost), but I found very few credible positive "reviews" or comments about them and plenty of complaints.

I'm not sure if i could recommend dreamhost. While I've never had any actual problems that I've been able to notice, I get lots of automated emails stating that there are problems with this or that. They say their mail servers or nameservers are down, but I have never seen any actual downtime, it just seems to be an automated email at the hint of trouble. I kind of like it, at least they let you know what's going on. As far as speeds and ability of the host I'd rate them very highly. I get well over 600KB/s+ downloads on my home connection and I've uploaded things at over 1MB/s on my schools connection. At least for your sake the price of entry isn't expensive. Usually you can try a FULL YEAR of hosting for $9.24 with the code "777" but that deal seems to have slipped away for the moment.(it comes back and goes away often.). If you'd like I can supply you with a $97off coupon(of $120) which still ain't a bad deal to try a webhost for a year. Plenty of hosting space and tons of bandwidth as well.

All three of the above hosts are extremely expensive for what you get. But I don't really have a great alternative.

I do know ResellerRatings.com advertises PowWeb as a host, but I don't know what kind of service it actually has.
