cant stop flash music

I have a flash file the plays a series of photos in a contiuous loop.

created a movie clip that plays music with an audio off button and an audio on button.

when i import the movie clip into the photo slideshow the movie clip does its job fine (ie starts & stops the music) until the photoslideshow starts again.

when the slideshow starts again, the music plays again even if it has been turned off.

I know its probably a noob mistake, but i dont know how to keep the music off until the Audio on button is pressed.

look for some online tutorial...

i think theres an Actionscript in flash thats like 'stop sound' or something like that.. just pop it in where u need it and presto

For my Curious George dancing the macarena, I played the music on the first frame and all the pictures on is on the second frame and then when you want it to loop have the actionscript on the last photo frame and put

gotoAndPlay(2);

or something like that. Something simple w/o coding too much. Or at the end of it you could turn off that sound file from the properties so when it loops it'll restart. Or you could use the actionscript stopAllSounds(); so when it loops again it'll restart.

i actually want the audio to stay off when the slideshow loops.

now, it turns off when you click audio off, but plays again when the slideshow loops again.

can i shift all my photo frames 1 frame to the right so they dont start on frame 1?
that way i can put the audio on frame 1 as suggested

If you put the pictures on frame 2, just highlight all the frames in that layer and click and drag it one frame over.
