| HTML is not working right in PHP Nuke
I have PHP nuke 7.8. When I try to insert HTML code into a module or a message, it shows the code as text(see below), then when I go back to administration, nothing appears in the text input box and when you click the HTML edit button to the bottom right of the text input box, it only shows a portion of the code.
When I try to insert the same code into a forum post, I get a code not allowed message.
I am trying to insert HTML/Javascript codes for PayPal donations and Google AdSense advertising: Code: <script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "pub-5714609032693513";
google_ad_width = 468;
google_ad_height = 60;
google_ad_format = "468x60_as";
google_ad_type = "text_image";
google_ad_channel ="";
google_page_url = document.location;
google_color_border = ["000000","6699CC","000000","CCCCCC"];
google_color_bg = ["F0F0F0","003366","000000","CCCCCC"];
google_color_link = ["0000FF","FFFFFF","FFFFFF","000000"];
google_color_url = ["008000","AECCEB","999999","666666"];
google_color_text = ["000000","AECCEB","CCCCCC","333333"];
//--></script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script> This one is for Google AdSense. When I insert it, it shows like that until I go to edit it again...

Since I don't know anything about PHP nuke 7.8 I will just take a wild guess that somewhere it is configured to not except JavaScript as a post. So when it sees JavaScript in the post the application strips it and sends it to the browser as text and not script - kind of like the code tag for these forums do. Look at your client side code when the page loads and see if the JavaScript is there. |

Modify the PHP file directly and put the code in. Much simpler than trying to figure out why exploit fest PHPNuke won't let you put it in.
