I have a website (I'd rather not post the address here) where I host my blog with software I've written in PHP. One of the new features I've added to the site is an RSS feed in order to allow people to keep up with new posts on my blog without having to visit my site. The RSS feed is generated automatically, on the fly by a PHP script. When you visit my site ( http://www.mysitehere.com/rssfeed/) it automatically generates the XML content for the RSS feed and returns it to the browser or feed reader. The feed works fine, and that's not the thing I'm having trouble with.
My question relates to the automatic "subscribe to this site's feed" button in the Opera and Firefox web browsers. This button shows up at the right side of the address bar when you visit places like http://slashdot.org and allows you to quickly and easily subscribe to the site's feed. My site, even though it has a feed, does not show this button in the address bar. What do I need to do in order to make this button show up in the address bar? Thanks.
